How do I shop on the site?
You can go along the various shelves and make a choice by clicking. The shopping cart is a memory for products that you added while shopping, but you are not obliged to order them. It simply offers the possibility to search further on the site. You will see an image of most products. A description appears when you click. You can always delete products or change the number. During shopping, you will always see the number of items and total amount that you have in your shopping cart.
How do I send an order through the site?
When your shopping cart is full, click on "Proceed to checkout". Here you can choose the shipping and payment method and then click on "Buy now". Later you will receive a confirmation via email with an overview of all the items you have just ordered.
Are prices including taxes?
All prices on our website are including taxes. From 1 July 2021, new VAT rules for e-commerce will apply in the EU. The product prices now depend on your shipping address (country) in your account and therefore may differ from the prices you see when you are not logged in.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CERTIFIED ORGANIC?
Our Warrior Blend, Sol Good Bars, Classic Plus, and Ormus Supergreens are all certified organic. We are currently in the certification process for all the products the USDA will let us certify. Plant-based minerals and purified water unfortunately do not apply, so our liquid minerals may never get the seal, but Sunwarrior is dedicated to sourcing only the best organic ingredients and certifying everything possible.
DO YOUR PRODUCTS NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED?
None of our products, except Vitamin Mineral Rush (that’s VMR for those in the know), need to be refrigerated even after opening, but keep those packages in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight.
WHERE DO YOUR INGREDIENTS COME FROM?
Sunwarrior seeks out the best ingredients throughout the world, from the desert farms of Arizona and Utah to the rolling fields of the Midwest to the foothills of the Himalayas. Due to climate, growing seasons, and sustainability we cannot source from only one country or region. We scrutinize and monitor the farms and facilities we deal with for the highest levels of quality and control. Every batch that enters the United States is tested and approved by the FDA. We also rely on our own quality control standards to ensure our ingredients are of the utmost quality.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS KOSHER?
We are in the process of certifying all our products as Kosher. At the moment, Classic Plus and Warrior Blend have earned the Kosher seal from Orthodox Union.
CAN I TAKE YOUR PRODUCTS WHEN PREGNANT OR NURSING?
You should always consult a health care professional before beginning any new supplements, especially while pregnant or nursing. This applies to even the best plant-based superfoods. All the ingredients in Sunwarrior products are considered safe in the amounts found in foods. Always use supplements in moderation and follow suggested use on the labels.
WHAT IS XANTHAN, OLIGODEXTRIN, AND PECTIN, AND WHAT ARE THEY DERIVED FROM?
Xanthan is a natural stabilizer and thickener. Oligodextrin is a complex carbohydrate that also acts as a stabilizer and thickener. It also helps restore lost glycogen after workouts. The xanthan and oligodextrin used in Sunwarrior’s Classic Protein is derived as a result of the fermentation of brown rice. Pectin is a soluble dietary fiber found in apples and other fruits. It has a number of health benefits and is also a vegan alternative to gelatin.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CLASSIC PROTEIN, WARRIOR BLEND, and CLASSIC PLUS?
All these products supply plant-based protein, taste great, and tend to be more gentle on the digestive system than whey or soy. Classic Protein is made from fermented brown rice. This simple formula is suggested for those with food allergies and our more granola customers.
Warrior Blend is a synergistic combination of pea, goji berry, and hemp proteins with the bonus of medium chain triglycerides from coconut. Warrior Blend has a slightly better amino acid profile and includes the anti-inflammatory power of coconut to speed recovery.
Classic Plus relies on brown rice, pea, quinoa, chia, and amaranth for ancient grain goodness without the gluten or carbs. It has a similar amino acid profile to Warrior Blend, but a slightly different texture and flavor. All are highly effective sources of protein, so it really comes down to personal preferences. CAN I TAKE MORE THAN THE SUGGESTED SIZE OF YOUR PROTEINS?
Yes, but we recommend you do not go over your body's daily recommended protein. Your body generally requires 10–15% of your diet consist of protein.
CAN I GIVE YOUR PRODUCTS TO MY CHILD?
It is always important to discuss diet changes and supplementation with your health care professional, especially when it comes to your children. Children under the age of two years should not be given our products. They may be safe to use in moderation for children older than two.
WHAT DOES ORMUS MEAN?
Ormus refers to special minerals found in minute amounts in certain soils around the world.
DO ORMUS SUPERGREENS SUPPLY ALL THE VEGETABLES I NEED?
No, they supplement your consumption of vegetables, but they do not replace all the crunchy goodness of the vegetables that should be in your diet.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIQUID LIGHT, IMMUNE SHIELD, AND VITAMIN MINERAL RUSH?
Liquid Light is a plant-based fulvic acid mineral complex created by nature and cold process extracted into a liquid solution.
Immune Shield is a natural fulvic acid mineral complex fortified with silver ions. The silver ions are complexed inside the fulvic acid molecule for maximum protection and performance.
Vitamin Mineral Rush is a combination of minerals, fulvic acid, and plant-based vitamins. This is a great multivitamin for those who do not like pills or capsules, and it tastes like sweet tea.
IS THERE CAFFEINE IN YOUR PRODUCTS?
None of our products contain caffeine. The tea leaf extract we use in Warrior Blend is herbal only.
WHAT IS THE EQUIVALENT OF THE SCOOPS IN TABLESPOONS?
Each product varies slightly. Warrior Blend is about 4 tablespoons, and Classic Protein is about 3 tablespoons per scoop.
CAN PRODUCT BE USED AFTER EXPIRATION DATE?
Supplements begin to lose potency after the expiration date. They are usually safe to consume for some time after the expiration date, but use caution and know you are not getting the full potency. If any product begins to smell off or show any signs of spoilage, they should be discarded immediately, regardless of the expiration date. Follow guidelines for storage and the product may last longer.
Are your products gluten free?
All our products are gluten free except Activated Barley, which naturally has some gluten. Activated Barley is being discontinued.
Do I have a warranty on my products?
The legal warranty applies to all products that you purchase from us. Legal warranty means that a product is or must do what the consumer can expect in all reasonableness.
How can I file a complaint?
If you have a complaint about our products or our service, you can contact us via the contact form. You will not receive an acknowledgment of receipt of your complaint, but we will respond within 14 days. Are you not satisfied with the handling of your complaint? Then you can submit this to the Geschillencommissie Thuiswinkel, PO Box 90600, 2509 LP in The Hague. You can also submit your complaint via the European ODR Platform.
What is your policy regarding (product) reviews?
We collect reviews through Feedback Company.
A review may be written based on a purchase and/or experience. For example, the contact with customer service can continue as an experience. We have a button on every review page to remain transparent, so consumers with an experience who do not receive an invitation from the company can also write a review.
Because we work with an independent review party, transparency is greater. Feedback Company regularly conducts investigations to guarantee the authenticity of reviews as much as possible. Both positive and negative reviews are posted. No paid reviews will be posted. A review that does not comply with Feedback Company's guidelines will not be published.
A review is put on hold for a maximum of 7 days so that there is time to find out whether a possible complaint from a consumer has actually had an experience. In this way there is also the opportunity to see whether the complaint can be resolved and the consumer can be asked to review the review.
